welcome
Madeline’s B&B is located in the heart of Tinahely, a small country village at the foot of the Wicklow Hills in West Wicklow. The house originates from the 1880’s and has been a family home ever since. Madeline’s was originally known as Muskoka House, named after a lake in Canada. In 1969 Madeleine and her parents moved into Muskoka house and then in the year 2000, Madeleine first opened the doors of her new B&B appropriately named Madeline’s.

On arrival to Madeline’s house, you will get the warmest welcome, instantly making you feel at home. Have the run of the B&B, lounge in her sitting room with some TV, relax in front of her open fire. If you feel like a cup of tea, just ask Madeline or help yourself in her kitchen.

She will spoil you with her homemade scones and is famous for her brown soda bread! And then when all this done, most importantly you will sleep like Sleeping Beauty in her cosy beds.

about us
Madeline’s is open all year round. Your children are most welcome, and so are your pets! There are parking facilities at the rear of the house and the house is also equipped with a wireless broadband connection.

Madeline’s B&B has five bedrooms, of which two are family rooms and three are double rooms. All bedrooms are ensuite and equipped with electric showers. Her sitting room is an open room for guests who want to enjoy a game of charades, some TV or a glass of wine – she likes it when you feel at home in her home.
